Dalmatian Systems are delighted to welcome Education Consultant Martin Heartfield to the team.

Martin Heartfield

Martin has over 25 years’ experience in the education movement, working at the Brunts Academy in Mansfield as Director of Music, Director of Specialism for the Creative and Performing Arts before joining the leadership team 7 years ago as a Deputy Head teacher. He also has been a Workshop Manager for the Nottinghamshire Performing Arts for over 20 years, as well as speaking at several education conferences including the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

Martin is now working for R.E.A.L Education in Mansfield and also as Head of Education for The Symphonic Brass of London, as well as helping to develop projects that will support more young people learning to play musical instruments. This has seen the formation of the North East Midland Youth Brass Band in June 2016. In January 2016 Martin was invited to become a trainee member of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators.

On joining Dalmatian Systems, Martin said, “since the first time I had a look at the platform, I was excited by its potential and the massive difference it will make to students when it comes to finding the right career for them. There’s an ever growing pressure on schools for them to help find their students a positive career destination and the Dalmatian platforms will help ensure that students are career ready”
