In 1886, 32 years before women in the UK earned the right to vote, Avon’s founder, David H McConnell helped given the women the chance to become more independent and earn their own income. Whilst he never set out to create a beauty company, he soon realised that his customers were more interested in the perfume than the books he was selling.
In the UK, Avon now reaches one in three women, with six million women coming into contact with an Avon brochure. Avon sells an extensive range of wellbeing products, jewellery, lingerie, accessories and gifts. More products carry the Avon name than any other brand in the world.
If you’re interested in being your own boss and working hours that suit you and your family, then why not come along to the Dalmatian Job Show and speak to the Avon representatives who are there, to find out more. They’ll be recruiting Avon representatives across the country to sell Avon products face to face or online, full training will also be provided. You can also find more information on their website.
The Dalmatian Job show takes place on 20th February at Portland College between 10am and 2pm. It’s free to attend and there’s also plenty of free parking too. There’s also a bus stop right outside the college too. You can find directions here
