This event is FREE to all current business owners and future entrepreneurs wishing to learn a little more. There will be 3 taster sessions (shown below), and you are welcome to stay for one, two or all three.

The sessions will be run by a team who bring together a wealth of knowledge and experience from many different sectors and will be a unique opportunity to pick their brains and hear how they can help.

On the day we will be joined by;

Dr Cham Kang, who has over 25 years on international sales marketing, business & new product development in science, technology, engineering & manufacturing experience. He has an excellent record of sustainable strategic planning, commercial success, customer relationship building & change management to build successful teams.

Dr Kang has also managed global marketing strategies & launches realising excellent return on investment in Europe, Americas, South East Asia & Oceania.

Martin Rigley MBE, is the Managing Director of Lindhurst, a company that was founded in 1985 to provide engineering services to the UK coal mining industry.  They now actively look for challenges where they can utilise their expertise in providing innovative solutions using their core skills & knowledge of fabrication, mechanical & electrical engineering.

Lindhurst work across a broad range of sectors; utilities, energy, transport, construction, original equipment manufacturers, food & drink and bio science.

Since 2010 Lindhurst have been developing a fast rate anaerobic digestion system based on the concept of the microbial fuel cell. The system looks to exploit IP developed by the University of Nottingham.

Martin is a Chartered Engineer, holds Eur. Ing. status (FEANI European Engineer), is a Member of the Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Materials and is a Member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. He is the current chair of the N2 Skills & Employment Board

He was awarded an MBE in the 2016 New Year’s Honours list for services to Business & Innovation.

Steve Walker, who has a wealth of experience in the engineering industry and has worked with a major blue-chip company to help them set up a supply chain, using his skills as a networker and a facilitator. He has also enabled Business Engagement for companies with a local University, as well as supporting businesses in Sheffield and Bradford.
Steve has a 2015 ILM 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring and was subsequently awarded a Fellowship by the ILM.

He currently works with over 30 clients, from Directors, Senior Managers, Mangers and Team Leaders, in SMEs of turnovers up to £30M. Coaching/mentoring in areas of Business, Leadership, profitability, organisation, creating help not blame cultures
He also held the position of Managing Director of Barton Precision Engineers.

Preethi K Kang, is currently the team lead with Qinesis, as well as being the marketing Manager at Entekno Materials. Preethi has a wealth of marketing experience, which she uses to help the clients she works with to help them grow their own businesses.

John Mattinson, is the manufacturing and engineering consultant for Qinesis, as well as owning Mattinson Consulting Limited, where he works in collaboration with companies to develop and add sustainable value to their business. His specialties include Business horizon development, civil engineering, construction, floods solutions, collaborative partnerships, innovation, safety and health, environmental, sustainability, energy and waste efficiency.

The event takes place at the Hive in the Four Seasons Shopping Centre in Mansfield on the 5th December between 9am and 12pm.
